Molecular Mimicry Mapping in Streptococcus pneumoniae: Cues for Autoimmune Disorders and Implications for Immune Defense Activation

چکیده

Streptococcus pneumoniae contributes to a range of infections, including meningitis, pneumonia, otitis media, and sepsis. Infections by this bacterium have been associated with the phenomenon molecular mimicry, which, in turn, may contribute induction autoimmunity. In study, we utilized bioinformatics approach investigate potential for S. incite autoimmunity via mimicry. We identified 13 proteins that significant sequence similarity human proteins, 11 them linked autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes. Using silico tools, predicted well structural homology among these proteins. Database mining was conducted establish links between disorders. The antigenic, non-allergenic, immunogenic mimics were employed design validate an immune response vaccine construct design. Mimic-based can prove effective immunization against infections. Immune simulation binding affinity assessed through docking C8 leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecules TLR4 receptor, promising results. Additionally, mapped conserved regions on their respective suggesting functional importance pathogenesis. This study highlights trigger mimicry possibility using triggering defense response.

Disease mimicry--a pathogenetic concept for T cell-mediated autoimmune disorders triggered by molecular mimicry?

Molecular mimicry is considered as a mechanism by which infectious pathogens may break immunological tolerance and cause autoimmune disease. It implicates that peptides shared between pathogen and host may induce cross-reactive immune reactions. According to this hypothesis, the resulting autoimmune response actually represents a secondary immune response. It is mediated by cross-reactive T cel...

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...

Molecular mimicry in autoimmune disease.

The origins of autoimmune disease are multifactorial. Environmental factors and a genetic predisposition result in tissue injury caused by autoreactive T cells or antibodies. Usually a single organ or individual cell type is aVected in the absence of gross abnormalities of the immune system. Autoimmune diseases tend to have long, asymptomatic prodromal periods and the initiating events leading ...

Innate and adaptive immune requirements for induction of autoimmune demyelinating disease by molecular mimicry.

Molecular mimicry is the main postulated mechanism by which infectious agents induce autoimmune disease. A number of animal models have been utilized to establish a link between molecular mimicry and autoimmunity. However, a model of infectious disease whereby a natural pathogen expressing a known mimic epitope can induce autoimmunity to a known self-antigen leading to clinical autoimmune disea...
